Engagement & Secure Document Collection
Once you decide to move forward, we send an engagement letter and invoice. After the engagement letter is signed and payment is received, you will receive access to a secure client portal.
Through this portal, you will upload your tax documents and complete any required tax organizers. For your protection, sensitive tax documents are not collected by email.
Step 3:
Tax Preparation & Review
Tax preparation begins once all required documents are received. We prepare your return and review the results with you by phone or video call, addressing any questions and making necessary adjustments before filing.
Step 4:
Electronic Signatures
When your return is ready, you will receive a secure electronic signature request for required tax authorization forms. This allows us to proceed with electronic filing.
Step 5:
E-File & Confirmation
After signatures are received, we electronically file your return. You will then receive confirmation of acceptance along with PDF copies of your filed tax return and an acknowledgment for your records.

My name is Carlos Cañas
I have been working in the tax preparation field since 2012, with extensive experience preparing complex individual tax returns as well as returns for small business owners and independent contractors.
I am currently pursuing an Associate of Science in Accounting and I am nearing completion of the Enrolled Agent credential.
In addition to hands-on tax preparation, I bring several years of managerial experience in the tax industry, overseeing workflow, quality, and client service.
